How To Play
The goal of Accordion is simple, to combine all cards into one pile.

The game starts out by 13 cards being dealt into a row (the shape of the row depends on the setting you choose).

A card may be moved onto another card if it matches suit or rank with either it's left-most neighbor, or the card 2 or 3 (depending on Settings) from the left of it.

Note that in the Backwards C and Backwards S board layouts, there are times when you will have to match from left to right (and not right to left as described above). There are arrows drawn on the screen to help show the direction of card matching.

When a match is made, all cards are shifted to the left to fill in the blank space created. A new card is automatically dealt to the end of the row from the draw pile.

One point is scored for each match. The score starts out at one, so that in a winning hand, the total points are 52.

The round is won if all of the cards are combined into the single left-most top pile.

If at any time during the game there are no further possible matches, the game will automatically end.

If a round is won, then a new round is dealt, and the score continues to build until it is impossible to make any further matches.

If you tap on the draw pile (the Seahorse card), you are shown a possible move.
