Your mission will be to save the world, that's all ;-)
You have to destroy as many falling meteorites as possible. You earn a maximum of 200 points for each destroyed meteorite, the amount of points depends on the position of the meteorite when it's destroyed but you also loose 750 points for each missed one. The game ends when you reach level 10, when you have missed too many meteorites and you score is below 0 or if you hit a meteorite with no more shield energy. You have limited ammunition shown by the bar in the left screen border so don't waste them... The ship is also equipped with a protection shield that resumes energy very slowly so be careful.
If you accept this mission, I wish you good luck. Frank |
Meteors uses the PDA JVM SuperWaba and thus needs the Superwaba
binaries to work.
The zip file of Meteors contains the SuperWaba 3.21 binaries which should run
on Palm OS 2.0 and above.

You may remove Meteors by using the "delete" option from the launcher. All related database
files will be removed also. You can delete SuperWaba in the same way by removing "SuperWaba"
& "SWNatives". But I recommend to keep it in your PDA to take benefit of other
great SuperWaba based programs.
This software was built with SuperWaba 3.21 which both supports PalmOS & PocketPC. Thanks to Guilherme C. Hazan alias "guich" for his great job and for the many hints to improve this game. Visit http://www.superwaba.org for the complete toolkit and other information.
