1. Installation Instructions
Please install the following files onto your Palm OS handheld computer before running Portuguese Vocab:
  PortugueseVocab.prc
  PortugueseVocabDB1.pdb

Note : In order to have full read/write access to the Portuguese Vocab database, the files must be installed in RAM and not on extended memory (Memory Stick, etc).

Why are there only 1,400 entries?
Portuguese Vocab was designed to help students improve their Portuguese-English vocabulary. It is not intended to be a full Portuguese-English dictionary.
Where can I get a full Portuguese/English dictionary?
A number of Palm OS dictionaries are available from www.handango.com.
Can I import vocabulary from my PC or Mac?
Entering new vocabulary into your Palm will reinforce the learning process, so there is no import facilty at this time.

How do I backup my Portuguese Vocab data?
The file containing the Portuguese Vocab data (PortugueseVocabDB1.pdb) is automatically backed-up to your desktop each time your before a Hotsync and is stored in the Backup directory of your Palm user directory.
What about program upgrades?
Updates to Portuguese Vocab for bug fixes and new features will be posted free of charge at www.westering.com/portuguesevocab
