The FastHack is an extension for HackMaster. This hack is intended to increase (to decrease) the clock frequency of the central processor (CPU).

Clock frequency control range:

• Minimum frequency - 8 MHz
• Peak frequency - 32 MHz

Recommended clock frequency range (For EZ CPU):

• Minimum frequency - 10 MHz
• Peak frequency - 28 MHz

Recommended clock frequency range (For NON EZ CPU):

• Minimum frequency - 12 MHz
• Peak frequency - 22 MHz

How does the FastHack work?

After installation of "FastCPU.prc" you should activate this hack in HackMaster application. In order to change values by default you should enter the FastHack preferences ( the "+" symbol).

Graphic indicator displays frequency of the selected application. In order to read the indication you should touch any item in the application list. As soon as you start changing the frequency of any application the graphic indicator displays the frequency diagram for this application.

For convenience the following 4 ranges are used:

• Slow 8 - 15 MHz
• Normal 16 - 20 MHz
• Fast 21 - 25 MHz
• Ultra 26 - 32 MHz

On pressing the "All Normal" button all applications are preset to frequency of 20Mhz (for Palm Vx and IIIc) or 16Mhz for all other devices.

For quick frequency change of all applications you should preset the required frequency and press the "All Current" button. After this action all applications will change over to the selected frequency.

For quick frequency change of an application you may use firstly the "Normal" - "Fast" - "Ultra" - "Slow" buttons and then use fine tuning in the selected frequency range.

Functions of "All Normal" and "All Current" buttons are not available for the applications marked by this symbol.

Functions of "All Normal" and "All Current" buttons are available only for the applications marked by the "V" symbol.

The symbol state can be changed by touching the symbol itself.
